Rocky Mountain Health Foundation (RMHF)serves 22 counties in western Colorado. With the mission of improving the overall health of a community, RMHF is a newly converged $38 million permanent and regional funding resource as the result of Rocky Mountain Health Plans selling to United Healthcare. The Foundation addresses some of the Western Slope's most pressing health needs, including access to health care, hunger, transportation to/from medical treatments, and integrated behavioral health. Western Colorado Community Foundation (WCCF)The mission of the Western Colorado Community Foundation is to promote charitable giving, build and manage charitable funds for community good, and provide grants, scholarships and other resources to benefit the residents and communities of western Colorado. The 21st Judicial District Victim Assistance and Law Enforcement (VALE) Programprovides grant funding to agencies that provide services to crime victims within Local Judicial Districts (PDF) based on money collected from certain crimes. These funds are collected and used for grants to agencies that provide services to crime victims within the local judicial district from which the surcharge was imposed. United Way of Mesa Countyis a nonprofit located in Grand Junction, CO. Together we can increase self-reliance, promote health and build strong families.
