Jessica Berry

Credentials: LCSW, Clinical Director
Title: Clinical Director
Experience:
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the Clinical Director at CEC. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis in trauma and social justice from the University of Denver, and I have been providing advocacy and mental health services in the Grand Valley since 2015. My work has consistently centered on supporting individuals who have experienced traumatic events and are navigating their own unique healing process.
I am passionate about walking alongside people as they reconnect with themselves, make meaning of their experiences, and explore possibilities for growth that honor their authentic selves. It is a privilege to witness the strength and resilience that every individual carries within them.
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed and collaborative. I believe healing happens in safe, compassionate relationships where every part of your story is welcomed with care and respect. I operate from the belief that you already hold the capacity for healing and growth, and my role is to support and guide that process.
I am trained in EMDR and Ego States work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Since completing my MSW in 2020, I have provided trauma-focused therapy to a diverse range of individuals and remain committed to ongoing learning and growth in my clinical practice.
