I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in counseling from Northwestern University. I view therapy as a collaborative and compassionate process, where the client is the expert on their own experiences, and where creating a safe environment where clients feel heard and understood is essential. I believe we all possess inner wisdom that can guide us toward peace; I hope to support my clients in connecting to this wisdom.
My journey of self-discovery led me to this work. Embarking on this journey can feel overwhelming; I value supporting others to build confidence as they navigate their own self-discovery journeys. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and client-centered, drawing from narrative therapy, mindfulness skills, ego states and parts work, EMDR, CBT, and DBT.
While much of my clinical experience has been with adults, I have also worked with children, adolescents, and families. I have a particular interest in supporting survivors of antagonistic abuse and helping clients reconnect with their inner strengths.
