Hello! I’m Kristine, and I am so glad you are here. Reaching out for help is not a weakness, it is a tremendous strength. It takes a lot of courage. I am in this line of work because I have lived experience with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. However, this isn’t about me, it is about you. The reason I tell you this is because I want you to know I can often relate to many of the feelings and experiences that come with mental health challenges. You do not have to go this journey alone.

Have you heard the saying “With our thoughts we create our world”? I truly believe this. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Ego States, Solution Focused Therapy, and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health  Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. I am currently an LPCC, which is a pre-licensed professional. I will be applying for full licensure in March of 2026. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor, and have been with the Counseling and Education Center for almost 3 years, including my internship. I have past experience as  a Certified Peer Specialist and Crime Victim Advocate, as well as other law enforcement and human services experiences.

I treat adults, 18+ and specialize in trauma, (sexual assault/molestation, assault, domestic violence,  religious trauma, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I also enjoy working with those struggling with mental health challenges surrounding depression, anxiety, and Bipolar Disorder. Additionally, I have a passion for working with First Responders. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey to wellness, and hope to meet you soon!
