Experience:

I am drawn to therapy because it allows me to be a lifelong learner, not only about psychology, but about clients and people in general. Every person brings a unique story, perspective, and way of understanding the world. I consider it a privilege to learn alongside the individuals I work with as they navigate healing and growth.

I approach therapy as a collaborative process. Each client comes with goals, questions, and experiences that deserve curiosity and respect. Together, we explore what may be contributing to current challenges, whether that involves trauma, anxiety, depression, existential concerns, or other life stressors. I strive to create a space that feels open and nonjudgmental, where insight can develop naturally and at a pace that feels right.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and have worked in the mental health field since 2020. My background includes inpatient crisis stabilization and detox, emergency room and psychiatric settings, mobile crisis response, and outpatient therapy. While crisis work strengthened my ability to respond in high-pressure situations, I have found that ongoing outpatient work allows for deeper reflection and sustained growth.

I am a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and a Certified Autism-Informed Professional. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and continue expanding my approach to better support neurodiverse clients and members of the LGBTQ+ community. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in Colorado and remain committed to continued learning, both through formal training and through the lived experiences of the people I serve.
