I believe empathy, compassion, and advocacy are at the heart of meaningful therapeutic work. I approach counseling as a collaborative process where people feel safe sharing their stories, exploring their experiences, and growing into the person they want to become. I also believe there is real strength in communication and in honoring lived experience.
I became a therapist to better support the community around me and to help individuals reach their goals while learning from their past experiences. I am motivated by the opportunity to empower people through their strengths and unique qualities.
My experience includes working with children, families, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, and boundary setting. I genuinely value working across developmental stages and appreciate the different perspectives and lived experiences each person brings into the therapy space. Those differences shape the work in meaningful ways and allow for shared learning and growth.
I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Colorado Mesa University and am currently under the supervision of Mary MacDonald, LCSW, at CEC. In addition to my clinical experience, I bring five years of work supporting children and families in childcare and school-based settings.
